A merry LMS miracle: Hubken saves the season

‘Twas the night before Christmas, in every workplace, 

Course development had paused in advance of the break. 

All courses were crafted with precision and care, 

In hopes that new knowledge soon would be shared.

The modules were nestled, all snug in their tracks, 

While visions of badges filled progress bars to the max. 

And Hubken in their wisdom, with a keen eye for trends, 

Had just launched new features to assist our dear friends.

Somewhere in the office there arose such a clatter, 

I sprang to my desk to see what was the matter. 

Away to my dashboards I flew like a flash, 

Logged into my system with a quick keyboard mash.

The glow from the screen gave a bright digital glow, 

Highlighting the widgets and reports in a row. 

But alas! To my horror, the courses were gone, 

The LMS empty, like the dark before dawn.

A glitch in the system was causing a fright, 

All the courses were missing on this cold winter night. 

Our clients were puzzled, their progress erased, 

And all of our customers were now in a daze.

But then, to my wondering eyes should appear, 

A message from Hubken, bringing hope and good cheer. 

“Do not worry,” it read, “we’re aware of the plight, 

We’re working to fix it, to make everything right.”

Andy and Dan acted so lively and quick, 

Endowed with the powers of jolly St. Nick. 

More rapid than fibre, our hero’s took aim 

As they whistled and shouted and sorted by name!

As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly, 

When they meet with an obstacle, and drift to the sky. 

So up to the homepages, the courses they flew, 

With the screens full of dashboards and progress bars too.

Tina and Kerry dealt with each incoming ticket, 

Deftly avoiding a true sticky wicket. 

Kelly and Paolo were manning the phones, 

Reassuring our clients that they weren’t all alone.

Ray’s eyes—how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry! 

His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! 

The smile on his face was drawn up like a bow, 

The stubble on his chin was as white as the snow.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, 

He reviewed all the courses; then turned with a jerk, 

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, 

Soon let me to know we had nothing to dread.

Vicky and Grace high-fived the whole of the team, 

Thankful this nightmare was not what it seemed. 

The courses were back, all progress returned, 

And peace on the platform was finally earned.

With the team’s awesome help and Hubken’s quick fix, 

The LMS was restored, no more technical ticks. 

With Moodle and Totara back firmly online,  

It was time for the team to enjoy their mulled wine.

But before all the screens turned dark once again,  

There was one final task, one thing that remained. 

With great flair and great wit, Marketing sprang into sight,  

“Happy learning to all, and to all a good night!”
